Communty campaigner Sarah to parade around Wembley prior to kick-off

A community campaigner will represent Fleetwood Town at Sunday’s FA Community Shield Final between Manchester United and Leicester City at Wembley.

Sarah Bowker, who is the Community Trust Leader at the McDonalds restaurant branch in Fleetwood, a position she has held for three-years,  has worked in close partnership with Fleetwood Town Juniors U10s team, who are managed by her husband, Phillip.

Over the course of the last few years, aside from sponsoring and raising funds for equipment for the FTFC Junior side, Sarah has fundraised for the Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in Liverpool.

Sarah’s hard work and dedication to her community has subsequently been rewarded by the Football Association for this weekend’s fixture between the two domestic winners’ of the Premier League and FA Cup last season.

Alongside her husband, Fleetwood junior coaches and players, Sarah will parade around the hallowed turf at the home of English football prior to kick-off.
