Five young Christians from the West Bank and Jerusalem will be in attendance at Fleetwood Town’s home game against Oldham Athletic this weekend. They are a mixture of Jewish and Palestinian teenagers.

Esther, Helen, Ahalela, Matthias and Daud, known as ‘Kings Kids’, will travel to the United Kingdom to spend time in the North West and surrounding areas.

Graham Emerson, the Club’s first team bus driver for Reays Travel, will be welcoming the group over having himself spent time in Israel recently.

Brought up in the tension of the Middle East, they have found peace by meeting together to share their faith in Christ.

Paul Calvert, who is from Carlisle but lives in the West Bank, aims to bring peace to these individuals through the form of media and has his own radio station.

The group will enjoy a morning out at Blackpool Pleasure Beach before the game, and will then travel to Highbury to take in some Sky Bet League One action.

In addition, they will be speaking at Crown Lane Free Methodist Church in Preston, PR4 0HD, after the game at 7:30pm to discuss what it is like to live in the tension between Israel and the West Bank.
