Quick on the heels of the Capital One Cup draw is Wednesday’s League One fixture release as Fleetwood Town get set for their second season in the third tier of English football.Graham Alexander has already told the Club website that the excitement is already building as Town look to build on last season’s tenth place finish.
Seven new teams will enter the third tier next season through a consequence of relegation from the Championship and promotion from League Two.
Joining the ranks are Blackpool, Wigan Athletic, Millwall, Burton Albion, Bury, Shrewsbury Town and Southend United.
It is sure to be an exciting year of football. Season ticket records have been broken, new players have entered Highbury Stadium, the new training ground will be in use and Fleetwood will be playing in a brand new home strip.
