Fleetwood Town Football Club are looking to recruit an Apprentice to work within their established grounds team. You will be working at both Highbury Stadium and at the new Poolfoot Farm training ground complex.

Your role will be to help maintain all areas to an excellent standard.  This is a varied role and will include a mix of horticulture, sportsturf and environmental services tasks including the clearance of the stadium areas after matches using machines and manual methods.

Candidates must be work within a small team, be hardworking, willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

You will be expected to develop working relationship with all departments and understand their roles.

You will be expected to work 35 hours each week, the times agreed by your line manager. Working over a 7 day on/off shift pattern which will include working weekends and a shift pattern of night/day working.

You will be paid a minimum of £95.55 per week, based on Apprentice min wage of £2.73 per hour. This will rise to £115.50 on 1st Oct 2015 based on new Apprentice min wage of £3.30 per hour.

Further information regarding your working week will be discussed at interview.

Training will be provided in the workplace where you will work towards an Intermediate Apprenticeship in Sportsturf.
