Town make the short trip along the coast to Kellamergh Park

Fleetwood Town's pre-season friendly schedule starts on Thursday evening with a trip to Kellamergh Park to take on AFC Fylde.

Kick-off for the game is at 7.30pm as Town begin to step up preparations for the upcoming 2015/16 League One campaign against the Coasters who themselves are gearing up for their National League North season.

The game offers the chance for fans to see each of the Cod Army's new signings in action for the first time, including the latest recruit, Iceland international Eggert Jonsson.

Jimmy Ryan, Amari'i Bell, Declan McManus and Vamara Sanogo could all also feature, with a number of development players also in line to appear.

Danny Andrew and Jamile Matt could also play having stepped up their rehabilitation from their long-term injuries by playing an active part in the early stages of pre-season.

As for the opposition, AFC Fylde narrowly missed out on promotion to the National League last time out as Dave Challinor's men finished two points behind champions Barrow before losing to eventual Play-Off winners Guiseley in the semi-finals.

There will be one familiar face amongst the Fylde players with ex-Town forward Matty Hughes likely to play having made the short trip to along the coast during the close season.

Admission prices for the game are as follows: Adults - £8 Concessions - £5 Under 16’s - Free

Following the trip to Kellamergh Park, Graham Alexander and the team will head on a tour of Germany to continue preparations for the new season by playing Borussia Dortmund B and Alemannia Aachen.

On their return there will be a trip to Rugby Park to play Kilmarnock on 25th July before home matches against Burnley and Getafe on the 28th and 31st July respectively.
