Referee appointed for this weekend's game

Staffordshire-based Christopher Sarginson will officiate proceedings when Fleetwood travel to Oldham on Saturday afternoon.

Sarginson took charge of 30 games last season, dishing out 87 yellow cards, and three red ones.

He was the man in the middle for two Fleetwood games last season, the 3-1 home defeat to Morecambe in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy last September, and Town’s 2-0 loss to Bradford City on Boxing Day.

This season, he was the man in the middle for Rotherham United's Capital One Cup victory over Cambridge United. Former Town skipper Mark Roberts completed the full 90 minuted for the U's.

Steven Rushton and Simon Clayton will run the line, while Chris Husband will be the fourth official.
