Striker to join Cod Army from 1st July

Fleetwood Town have agreed to sign striker Jamie Proctor from the 1st July.

The Preston born striker moves back up north following an 18 month spell at Crawley Town.

The 22-year-old started out at his hometown club, progressing through the youth system at Deepdale to become a first team regular.

Proctor, who was in the same youth team as Fleetwood defender Conor McLaughlin, featured 40 times for North End before joining Premier League outfit Swansea City in the summer of 2012.

A loan spell at Shrewsbury Town soon followed before Proctor made a permanent switch to Crawley Town in January 2013.

The centre forward went on to be a regular fixture in the Red Devils starting line, hitting the back of the net seven times last term.

Jamie is available to sponsor right now ahead of the 2014/15 League One campaign. Interested? Please call Martin Booker on 07854 846820.
