Town take on Championship Millers
Goalkeeper Chris Maxwell says Championship Rotherham will provide a good, early test in the Capital One Cup.
“This will be a good game to take part in and a good test of ourselves. Rotherham have enjoyed back-to-back promotions from League 2 to the Championship and that is something we must aspire to be like.
“It won’t be easy but I’m sure we will be prepared for the challenge” said Maxwell who has just signed a new two-year deal at Highbury.
Both sides – newly promoted through Wembley play-offs – will meet during week commencing 11th August at the New York Stadium.
The two clubs last met in December when Graham Alexander’s men were Highbury winners in the Football League Trophy.
