Job: Canteen Assistant - Maternity cover, nine month contract
Hours: 27.5 per week, Monday-Friday, 8.30am-2.30pm.
Some overtime/weekend work may be required however this will aways be discussed in advance with your line manager

We are looking for a Catering Assistant who will work alongside the Canteen Manager to help prepare varied quality menus. You will also promote and monitor food hygiene and safety standards and clean the kitchen to a high standard, including washing up / cleaning dishes.
A valid food hygiene certificate is desirable.
You will need a good knowledge of kitchen and food preparation procedures. You will also be a good communicator, and have a commitment to excellent standards leading to satisfied customers.
You will need to be flexible, adaptable; self-motivated, and also be able to work as part of a team.
