18 August 2014

Conor McLaughlin nominated for two North West Football Awards.

Northern Irish international defender Conor McLaughlin has been nominated for the Player of the Year award and Rising Star award.

McLaughlin played an integral part in Fleetwood’s success last season as the Club won promotion to the third tier of English football for the very first time.

The 23-year-old claimed the Players Player of the Year award, Junior Cod Army Player of the Year award and Goal of the Season award back in April.

Also up for a nomination is new recruit Danny Andrew from his time at former employers Macclesfield Town. Danny is up for the non league Player of the Year award.
