You can help your favourite club Fleetwood Town by betting through Sky Bet

As Oxford United and Fleetwood Town enter the closing stages of their Sky Bet League 2 clash, this year’s Grand National will also be nearing its closing stages at Aintree Racecourse, Liverpool.

For one-day every year, the four-and-a-half mile Grand National challenge – consisting of 16 various obstacles – attracts even the amateur gambler to betting shops up and down the country to have a flutter on horse racings grand stage.

And Sky Bet, the official betting partner of the Football League, is giving you and other football fans up and down the country the chance to place your bet ahead of British horse racing’s glamour event.

In the 167th annual three-day event, which got underway on Thursday, the Grand National will have a newly crowned winner this time around as last year’s victor, Aurocas Encore, who was ridden by Ryan Mania, will not be part of this year’s showpiece steeplechase.

Forty horses and jockeys will converge on Merseyside and ahead of the event and Teaforthree, who finished second in the 2012 Welsh National and third in 2013 National, has been named as the favourite by Sky Bet at 8/1 after finishing third in the annual event a year ago.

Monbeg Dude and Double Seven have been named as second and third favourties respectively at 12/1 and 14/1, but as last year showed, the coveted Grand National steeplechase, which is famous for its giant fences, is there for anybody to claim.
