Northwest Football Awards 2013

Davies, Sarcevic and Allen in the running

Town’s Scott Davies, Antoni Sarcevic and Jamie Allen have all been shortlisted for the Northwest Football Awards 2013 – and you can help them win their respective categories by voting.

Davies faces competition from Lee Molyneux (Accrington Stanley), Jack Redshaw (Morecambe) and Jason Kennedy (Rochdale) for the League Two Player award.

While Allen, who earned his first professional contract for the Cod Army last season, is up against 27 other contenders for the Rising Star honour - which includes Antoni Sarcevic and former loanee Alex-Rae Harvey.

The top three most voted for in each category will be shortlisted, with the winner being chosen by a panel of judges. Please note, the awards are for the 2012/13 season. Only Davies and Allen were present at the club during this time.

You can vote by following the link here: http://northwestfootballawards.com/voting2013 - but be aware there is also a Rochdale player named Jamie Allen, so make sure to select the right one!

Former Town goalkeeper Danny Hurst is also in the running for the Conference Player award, so make sure to get your vote in before the 5pm deadline on October 4th, 2013.

The Northwest Football Awards was launched six years ago in a bid to celebrate the region’s brightest and best in the game.

The Awards pay tribute to and recognise those who have achieved footballing excellence both on and off the field in the 2012/2013 season.

This year’s ceremony takes place on Monday, 4th November at The Point, Lancashire County Cricket Club. If you would like to buy tickets for the event, please follow this link: http://northwestfootballawards.com/order
