Nathan Pond testimonial kick-off 2pm

It’s an early than usual, 2pm Kick Off, for this Saturday’s eagerly awaited Nathan Pond Testimonial v Preston North End, as town start back up on home soil in their pre-season campaign.

Tickets are available for both sets of supporters right up until Kick Off with Turnstiles opening from 12.30pm. The ticket office is open every day from 9.00am until 5.00pm.

Jim’s Sports Bar will be open to both sets of supporters from the earlier time of 11.00am, in view of the earlier kick off time. Prior to kick off, due to ongoing building works above and at the rear of  Jim’s Bar, Saturday’s entrance will be at the far end of the Bar, closest to the Memorial Park. A temporary entrance,  leading off the park pathway, will be erected close to the Memorial Park entrance gates. As such the usual beer garden will be closed,  but a small outside area will be available. The usual selection of draught Beers, Peroni, San Miguel, Carlsberg, Tetley, Guiness and Sommersby Cider will be on sale along with the usual bottled beer selection. Hot pies and pasties are also available.

Jim’s Bar will close temporarily at 1.50pm and will then re-open for those supporters in the Memorial Stand and Highbury Stand at 2.00pm.

All supporters are welcome, once again, to enjoy the bar at the end of the Match.

Please note as there is building works in progress around the areas adjacent to the Memorial Stand and Jim’s Bar, supporters may see some temporary constructions while work is completed. This will not detract from the usual Jim’s Bar experience which will be fully completed along with brand new kitchen and sports café dining area within the next couple of months.

Home and away supporters are able to purchase ticket up until kick-off at 2pm.

Tickets are selling well with sales increasing as the occasion gets ever closer.

The club encourages all Fleetwood Town fans to come along and support Pondy for what promises to be a special occasion for him and the club.
