Overview
Fleetwood Town Football Club have an exciting vacancy for a full time ‘Media Executive’ to undertake the growing work load in relation to the promotion of Fleetwood Town Football Club via all forms of media. This is a brand new position in a forward thinking and progressive football club.

Job Description
Reporting to the Chief Executive the individual would be required to work within the small team of staff at the football club and would be responsible for the management and delivery of all media output and communications from the football club.
Specific Tasks include
Continual updating and maintenance of club’s website, and social media formats with both unique and regular information content both self generated and collated from head’s of department.
Liaison with both the written, audio and visual media on a regular basis forming, and developing upon existing club contacts.
Editing and issuing of press releases and general news to relevant media outlets
Conducting and overseeing interviews of the manager, players and staff in a weekly structured, and ad hoc basis, reacting to the swiftly changing landscape within the football club both during the week, on match days both at home and away.
Creation and editing of both regular and unique video content for both the club’s ‘Player’ product and ‘You Tube’ channel with the aim of increasing the club profile and subscriptions of the ‘pay per view’ formats.
Play a key role in the organisation of media and press requirements for both the club and the wider press, at both home and away fixtures.
Editing of the match day programme, liaising with printer, designer and all contributors.
Maintenance of media kit, equipment and inventory.
Regular communication with all the departments and key personnel at the football club to ensure all relevant news and information is collated and disseminated in a structured manner.
