FTOSC is a member’s club led by a committee of volunteers. Its main objective is to take a positive and enthusiastic role aimed at promoting and providing the strongest possible support to Fleetwood Town FC whatever the fortunes of the football club may be.
Another priority is to try and bring the members and all supporters closer to the football club by working in partnership with the club and other organisations. In addition to this, the FTOSC will try and ensure that members and supporters feel part of the ‘family’ of Fleetwood Town, which will enhance their matchday experiences. We also believe that a joined up fanbase is essential and we will be working with other supporters’ groups to establish a network that should benefit all supporters of Fleetwood Town.
The lifeblood of any club, or supporters organisation, are the juniors, and the FTOSC committee are planning various junior events that will be particularly aimed at our younger supporters. We have several events planned such as training ground visits, meet the players occasions, and even parties at Halloween and Christmas to name just a few. Our aim is to establish the FTOSC as a ‘must join’ organisation, as we believe that good communication, transparency and a ‘can do’ culture are all essential aspects of our philosophy.
The FTOSC was launched in September last year and we recently signed up our 100th member. Our next goal is to reach 200 by the end of the 2018/19 Sky Bet League One season.
Potential members can sign up by visiting the FTOSC table situated in the entrance to Jim’s Bar on matchdays from 1:30pm. Membership applications can also be found in the main reception at Highbury Stadium, the ticket office or could be sent out by either email or post.
Membership fees are only £10 per year for adults, and only £5 per year for under 16s. there is also the facility to sign up for two, or even three years, or you could sign up to our family membership for only £20 per year. A welcome pack will be given out to all members once they join the club.
We are a new organisation, and like many other voluntary groups, we are looking for some help to fill positions on our management committee. Therefore, if you are interested in becoming part of the committee, please contact Barnard Noble on 01253 973863, 07749 408881 or Bernard.Noble@sky.com.
