Born in Northern Ireland, Boyle joined the Fleetwood Town academy in June 2018 from Ridgeway Rovers and has gone on to captain the Under 18s and appear for the first-team.
Boyle, alongside fellow countryman Carl Johnston, signed their first professional contracts in January 2020. Soon after, Boyle made his senior debut for the club in the EFL Trophy against Leicester City Under 21s.
The midfielder has since gone on to come off the bench in Town’s 2-1 win over Sunderland in the Papa John’s Trophy in November 2020, before heading to National Premier League Premier Division FC United of Manchester on a youth loan.
Since returning, he has been involved with the first team and was on the bench at the KCOM Stadium as Fleetwood lost 3-2 to Hull in the Papa John’s Trophy quarter-final.
