Dean Marney joined Fleetwood Town at the end of July on a two-year deal after his contract ran out at Burnley.
The 34-year-old joins the Cod Army after eight years at Burnley, where he made over 200 appearances for The Clarets.
Marney won promotion to the Premier League twice under Sean Dyche in 2014 and 2016, and played 21 matches in England’s top flight in the 2016-17 season.
The midfielder started off his career at Tottenham Hotspur in 1993, where he came through the highly rated academy and was at the club for thirteen years, where he spent time on loan at Swindon Town, Queens Park Rangers and Norwich City.
A tough midfielder who is known for his excellent distribution, also played alongside Town’s head coach Joey Barton whilst at Turf Moor, with the pair now linking up at Highbury.
