Ryan Taylor joined the Cod Army on a free transfer in September 2018 following a successful trial at the club.
The 34-year old who has been capped by England at U-21 level, joins the club following a spell with Indian Super League team ATK.
Taylor started his career at Tranmere Rovers where he played for three years before his move to Premier League club Wigan Athletic. From there the Liverpudlian moved to Newcastle United where he played over 100 games for the Magpies.
The versatile player scored many iconic goals throughout his career, including a goal in a Europa League qualifier for Newcastle in 2012.
Known for his wonderful set-pieces, also played with Fleetwood Head Coach Joey Barton for two years at St James’ Park and the pair will now link up again at Highbury.
