Left-back Amari’i Bell signed for Fleetwood Town in the summer of 2015 from SkyBet Championship side Birmingham city and has since become a regular in the side.
Bell, who was born in Burton-on-Trent, started his footballing career in the youth sides at Solihull Motors and, later, Birmingham City. After graduating from the academy at St Andrews, the 21-year-old was sent out on loan to Nuneaton Town in July 2013, and he made his debut for them in the opening match of the season, which was a 1-0 win at Macclesfield Town.
Bell headed back to Brum and made his first-team bow for Birmingham on January 28th 2014 – playing the full 90 minutes in the 2-1 defeat against Leicester City. Shortly after his debut the second city club, Bell was loaned out to Kidderminster Harriers, with the defender earning Football League experience with brief loan spells with Mansfield Town, Swindon Town and Gillingham.
Following the expiration of his Birmingham City contract, Amari’i agreed a deal to join Fleetwood Town. Bell has featured mainly at left-back for Town and has become a mainstay in Uwe Rosler's side since the start of the 2016/17 season.
