Bobby Grant resigned for the Cod Army outfit back in July 2015, for his second stint at the club.

The midfielder started his playing career in the youth system at Accrington Stanley, before being offered a full contract at Crown Ground in 2006.

In the four years he spent at Stanley, Grant made 65 appearances and scored 15 goals in that time. After his good performances at the Lancashire side, he moved to Scunthorpe United in 2010 and spent a further two-years at the Iron, where he would go onto score seven times in 59 appearances.

During his time at Scunthorpe, Grant spent time on loan at Rochdale, and former side Accrington Stanley. His next move took him to Blackpool FC but was unable to find his place within the side.

He went on loan to Fleetwood Town but was injured on his debut for the club, cutting his loan spell short. He then went to Shrewsbury Town, under Micky Mellon and became a key member there for the remainder of the 2014/15 season, playing 33 times and scoring six goals as they gained promotion to Sky Bet League Two. Since moving to Fleetwood, grant has been an integral player and signed a new two year contract with the club in 2017.

Grant made 33 appearances last season for the Cod Army, with his 100th game for Town coming against Oxford United where the midfielder went on to score in the 2-0 win at Highbury Stadium. The midfielder picked up the Community Player of the Year Award in May, and has been named the club's Community Ambassador for the next 12 months.
