Former Burnley striker Chris Long has rejoined Fleetwood Town on a two-year contract after being released by the Clarets.
The 23-year-old returns to Highbury after initially joining the club on loan in 2016, featuring 18 times and scoring four goals. Since then, Long has embarked on successful loan spells at Bolton Wanderers and Northampton Town, with the striker getting nine goals in League One last season.
The former Everton youngster has represented England at U16, U17, U18, U19 and U20 level and becomes Joey Barton’s seventh signing of the summer.
