With three Fleetwood Town players out on loan at sister club Waterford FC, we're looking back at the last round of fixtures, which saw forward Maleace Asamoah score a hat-trick at the RSC.

On Friday night, Keith Long's side faced Dundalk at home in the Irish Premier Division, and with two away wins on the bounce at Shamrock Rovers and Sligo Rovers, this fixture was a real chance to push the Blues up the league standings.

It didn't take long for Waterford FC to take the lead at the RSC, and it was Maleace Asamoah who capitalised on a mistake in the 2nd minute to give the hosts a one goal lead. The forward ran from just inside the opponents half to then curl the ball into the far post.

Dundalk did equailise twenty minutes later, however the Blues made sure they went into the half-time break ahead when Asamoah fired home from ten-yards after Connor Parsons found the loanee inside the penalty box.

Christie Pattisson made it 3-1 to Waterford FC, with Maleace scoring his third of the game to secure the three points with a lovely long range effort - no keeper was saving that one!

With the match ball and three points in the bag, the 21-year-old also picked up the Man of the Match award for his superb performance. It really was the perfect week for the Blues who picked up nine points from a possible nine.

Town's Harvey Macadam came on in the 66th minute of the game for Waterford FC - who made his 11th appearance for the Club after joining them on loan in the January Transfer Window. Barry Baggley missed out on the game due to his ongoing injury.
