Fleetwood Town can confirm our Development Squad’s Premier League Cup fixture against Nottingham Forest will now take place at Chorley’s Victory Park on Friday 15 September (7pm kick-off).
Town’s inaugural fixture in this competition was originally set to take place at Highbury Stadium next Friday but has now moved 33 miles down the road, with spectators allowed to go and support the young Cods in their cup tie.
It was a brilliant start for the Under-21s in their league campaign, who found themselves top of the Professional Development League table after three consecutive wins but after two recent losses, they will be looking to bounce back against Forest in Chorley.
Ticket details for this fixture will be released in due course and will be shared on the website as well as the main social accounts, as well as the Academy pages.
