Fleetwood Town's Under-21s and Under-18s are both in action on Saturday, and we have all the details you need to know ahead of both kick-offs.

Under-21s boss Matt Lawlor will lead his side to Newcastle for another Premier League Cup match. The game will be played at Whitley Park in Newcastle upon Tyne (NE12 9FA), with kick-off scheduled for 2pm. Following their defeat to Nottingham Forest at the home of Chorley in the first round of fixture, the Cod Army will be hoping to get back to winning ways.

In their last outing, they played away at Premier League side, Burnley. The game finished 1-1 with goalkeeper Tom Donaghy saving a penalty to keep the scores level as the final whilstle was blew in East Lancashire.

The Under-18s are back in action after their 4-2 loss at home to Hull City. Forward Liam Roberts managed to pick out Dom Richmond with a cross, with the forward poking it home from close range to give Town the lead.

Even though the visitors brought the game back to level terms before the break, a header from 16-year-old defender, Adham Slater, finished Crispin McLean’s corner from the right after rising highest to nod a dominant header past the goalkeeper.

From this point though, the visitors found a groove in how they attacked the ball and quickly found the equaliser and, soon after, two more goals to finish off the tie at our training complex, which meant it would be the first loss of the month for the Under-18s.

This weekend they will make the trip to Yorkshire to face Barnsley at Oakwell. Kick-off for this match is 11am with the report to follow after the game.
