Fleetwood Town can confirm our Under-18s fixture against Wigan Athletic in the Professional Development League Cup, which was set to take place tomorrow morning at Poolfoot Farm, has been postponed due to adverse weather conditions.
Mark Yeates’ side, who will be familiar with the young Latics side having faced them twice already this season, have been informed that the pitch the game was meant to be played on at the training complex won't be fit for use after the wind and rain today.
Due to the scheduling of the PDL Cup, the game has now been moved to Saturday – keeping the 11am kick-off – which means the league fixture against the same side will be postponed until further notice.
