Fleetwood Town’s Academy will be busy once again this weekend as the Under-11s and Under-12s are heading down to Stevenage for a Pro Academy Tournament which includes teams from all over the world!

With the likes of Premier League giants Manchester City and Arsenal both being in the same group as our Under-11s, it’s set to be a tough couple of days for the young Cods, but one that they are all so excited to compete in.

Not only this, but they also have Italian giants AC Mian and Assistant Head Coach Steven Whittaker’s former side Hibernian in the group.

Looking at the other Under-11s group at the tournament, it doesn’t get any easier as Premier League sides Chelsea and Liverpool will fight it out against the likes of Norwich City, Shelbourne, and Danish side Boldklubben af 1893.

Moving on to the older age group of the tournament, the Under-12s, our young stars have got a tough group which includes Italian side Atalanta, Luton Town, and Yokohama FC who have travelled all the way from Japan!

Other international teams are in the second Under-12s group as Polish side KS Crocovia and Irish club St. Kevins will give Cambridge United and Crewe Alexandra a run for their money.
