Fleetwood Town can confirm that young defender Will Johnson joined Northern Premier League Premier Division side Marine A.F.C on Saturday morning, where he also went on to make his debut for the club.
Following impressive displays in the Under-18s this season, and leading his side to the Fifth Round of the FA Youth Cup, the 18-year-old has been sent out on loan to gain some valuable experiences in the English football pyramid.
The defender was eligible for selection on Saturday afternoon for Marine. He did go on to make his full debut for the Mariners in their league clash against Atherton Collieries - which saw Johnson keep a clean sheet in their 1-0 victory on the road.
Johnson will now be available for selection for their next match on Saturday 11 March against Guiseley.
