The construction of the club's new giant indoor dome is well underway, with builders finishing off the foundations before starting the steel-work on the dome.
After a number of years planning, it's great to see work in progress on the new Air Dome at the club's training complex, Poolfoot Farm.
For those who missed the initial release, the new dome will house an artificial grass 7-a-side pitch (60mx40m), a gymnasium area and a sprint track, and is scheduled to be finished for April 2023.
The dome itself is bespoke and made from a high-quality and energy-efficient membrane system, and uses the latest technology to keep the dome inflated, providing a permanent barrier to the worst conditions that the Fylde Coast can offer.
