Fleetwood Town’s Former Players Association are heading back to Poolfoot Farm for their monthly catch-up in a week's time.
The FPA, which normally meets on the first Thursday of every month, are back on-site once again next week and will be hoping to have the same attendance as the last meeting.
As a recap of the last meeting, Stuart Murdoch and the team met in the canopy at Poolfoot Farm and then ventured out to the new indoor dome, which saw all the squad take in the latest addition to the site. With some kicking a ball about and bringing back their youth, it was great to see smiles on faces.
Those in attendance also took part in an quiz from the one and only, Kevin Byrne! Members had to name as many members of the England 1966 and 1998 World Cup squad as they could.
The winner claimed a pair of Scott Brown's worn boots - which the group decided to put up for auction and to donate the winning amount to charity.
Existing and new members are welcome to Poolfoot Farm (FY5 4HX), with the meeting taking place between 10am-12pm on Thursday 6 July, we can't wait to see you all there!
