After what was an intense training camp out in Ireland, all the coaching staff and first team squad are set to return to training this afternoon at the club’s training complex as they look to continue their pre-season preparations.
The squad made their way from Waterford, where the week-long training camp took place, to Cork two hours away on Saturday afternoon after the Dundee FC fixture at the RSC – you can read the report HERE – but ran into some delays.
With all airlines fighting against the horrendous weekend weather here in England, timings went out the window, but rest assured, the squad managed to jump on their scheduled flight and head home that evening.
Head coach Scott Brown gave all the players the Sunday off after the matchday and travel day, but normal plans will resume from this afternoon as the squad prepare for their next pre-season fixture.
