Fleetwood Town are delighted to announce experienced goalscorer Jayden Stockley has signed for the club from fellow League One side Charlton Athletic for a substantial undisclosed fee.

The six-foot-three striker certainly knows where the net is as he managed to reach the 20-goal mark in a season for the third time in his career last campaign for Charlton Athletic and has more than 100 goals to his name throughout his career.

Stockley, who is familiar with the Fylde Coast after spending time with Preston North End, brings bags of experience and will join up with fellow new signing Jack Marriott for the next two-and-a-half years as Town’s new striking duo.

Head coach Scott Brown said on the signing: "I know Jayden from his time up in Scotland as we were at Aberdeen together so I'm delighted to have him with us at Fleetwood, alongside Jack [Marriott]. I know that he's someone who will drive the standards up and will be a leader in our dressing room."

The 29-year-old will wear the number 12 during his time at the club and will be eligible for Fleetwood Town’s next League One clash against Burton Albion on Saturday.
