After 11 years in the English Football League, we can now confirm the 200th player to feature in Fleetwood Town colours in an EFL league fixture is winger Phoenix Patterson!
After making our debut in the Football League back in 2012 in a goalless draw against Torquay United at Highbury, 201 players have featured for Fleetwood in the EFL, with Patterson being the 200th and Scott Robertson being the 201st - both coming off the bench against Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.
Just to reminisce, the first-ever Town XI to play in the Football League goes like this: Scott Davies; Shaun Beeley, Youl Mawene, Steve McNulty, Dean Howell; Damien Johnson, Jamie McGuire, Barry Nicholson; David Ball, Jon Parkin, Andy Mangan.
