Fleetwood Town are delighted to announce the signing of promising young attacking midfielder Callum Dolan from non-league side Warrington Rylands for an undisclosed fee.

Town fought off a host of EFL clubs for the 22-year-old’s signature, who is now contracted to the Cods until the summer of 2025.

He has been an ever-present in the Warrington side this season and has managed to find the net 15 times in just 26 appearances over the last six months.

Dolan, who started his career at Premier League giants Manchester United, has been in the EFL having signed for Oldham Athletic before his stints at Radcliffe, Matlock Town, and the most recent one being in Merseyside with the Blues.

The attacker said on the move: "I am delighted to be here. I wanted to be back in full-time football and I am grateful Fleetwood Town have given me that opportunity.

"I want to come here and score goals. I want to create chances from behind the strike and also get assists. I always say high risk equals high rewards.

"It's about proving to myself and others that I can play at this level. Self-belief has been a massive trait of mine, I never doubt myself."

Welcome to Fleetwood, Callum!
