Fleetwood Town can confirm the funeral details of former player, Ron Bellwood.
The funeral will take place at Carleton Crematorium on Tuesday 24 January 2023 at 1.15pm.
This service will be open to the public; allowing family, friends, and former teammates to pay their respects.
Ron was the oldest known surviving former player, having made his debut for his home town club in April 1951 against Barrow Reserves in the Lancashire Combination. He played a total of 148 games for Fleetwood, his only club, over a 12 year period.
