Fleetwood Town can confirm young midfielder Barry Baggley has joined our sister club in Ireland, Waterford FC, on loan.
Baggley, who has featured 15 times in all competitions for the Cods, heads over the Irish Sea to the Blues in search of first-team football.
He will look to build on his youth loan deal to Altrincham from 2021 where he played multiple times for the side based at the J.Davidson Stadium, which included a league tie broadcast live on BT Sport, where he scored the opening goal.
The 21-year-old has risen through the ranks in the Northern Ireland setup, making 18 appearances for the Under-17s, Under-19s, and Under-21s respectively, and has since been called up for his first senior training camp, which took place in the summer.
