Four Fleetwood Town players were in action over the weekend for their respective loan clubs, with one of them playing a pivotal part in his side earning a valuable point.

Both Tom Donaghy and Tom Hoyle were named in the starting line-up for Colne as they drew 2-2 with FC Trafford at the Holt House on Saturday afternoon.

Our number 31, Donaghy, produced two good saves in the first half to keep out shots from Alfie butcher and Tom Bentham, before denying another gilt-edged effort from the visitors soon after. Even after all of this, Trafford did manage to break through on two occasions and pull ahead in the clash, but a late double saw the side come back and pick up a valuable point from the game.

Connor Teale was also named as a starter for Farsley Celtic at the weekend when they travelled to the Impact Arena to face Alfreton Town and they looked to have stayed stern at the back throughout the game, with our young defender being mentioned multiple times for his good performance, but it was devastation in the 82nd minute as the hosts scored and secured the points.

It was another start for Dylan Boyle over the weekend as Spennymoor Town shared the spoils in their away clash to AFC Telford United, drawing the National League North game 1-1 at New Bucks Head. They are back in action on Tuesday evening as they host Bishop Auckland in the quarter-finals of the Durham Challenge Cup.
