Two of Fleetwood Town Wrens Ladies were in action over the weekend, and all picked up three vital points in their respective fixtures to make it the perfect weekend!

Fleetwood Town Wrens Ladies First Team were in action against Mossley Hill Football Club in a Premier Division clash. The match was played at Mossley Hill Athletic Club and it's fair to say it was a comfortable win for the Wrens Ladies.

After 90 minutes, the game finished 4-1 to the Cods with Emily Jones scoring a brace, with Sophia Woods and Izzy Hendry grabbing one goal each to get them over the line. It was a great performance from the Ladies, who backed up their impressive win last week to make it back to back wins.

The Reserves played against Colne Ladies in the LFA Women's County League Prem at Brews Park. This finished 1-0 after 90 minutes played with Emily McCarthy scoring the only goal of the match. It was a gritty performance for the girls, and it was just what the team deserved for their hard work and endeavour from start to finish.

With two matches and six points picked up in one day, it was the perfect weekend for the Wrens Ladies.
