Fleetwood Town can confirm that young forward Will Russ has extended his loan spell at Northern Premier League side, Hyde United until the end of the season.
Russ joined United in January on an initial month loan, and has gone on to impress those at Ewen Fields by scoring five goals in the seven matches during the month spell.
The forward is part of the club’s Development Squad, and has already spent time out on loan this season, initially joining FC United of Manchester in September before heading to the North East to Kevin Phillips’ South Shields a month later.
His manager at Hyde, Nick Spoonor said on the news: We are delighted to extend Will's loan.
"He's been a great signing for us and we are looking forward to see him back in the squad for the match against Nantwich Town."
Good luck at Hyde, Will!
