Two of the Fleetwood Town Wrens Ladies teams were in action at the weekend and here is a round-up of how they did in their respective fixtures.

FIRST TEAM

Fleetwood Town Wrens Ladies 4-4 Crewe Alexandra Women

The first team were back at Poolfoot farm at the weekend as they hosted Crewe Alexandra on the Fylde Coast and it ended up being an eight goal thriller. Last week’s POTM, Emily Jones, was at it again as she managed to score two in their end-to-end game, but it, unfortunately, wasn’t enough for the win on the day.

RESERVES

Clitheroe Wolves 0-9 Fleetwood Town Wrens Ladies Reserves 

It was a return to league action for the Reserves on Sunday and what a return it was! In a dominant performance from start to finish, a hat-trick was scored by McCarthy, with a brace following by one of the Players of the Match, Lou Stritch – well done, Ladies!
