Four Fleetwood Town players were in action over the weekend for their respective clubs, with all four being on the winning sides - read more below in our loan watch article.

It was the perfect weekend for the four Fleetwood Town players who featured for their clubs, with Connor Teale, Will Russ, Barry Baggley and Chris Conn-Clarke all gaining valuable minutes on the pitch.

Teale - who signed a new contract at Town - played his second game in a week for new side Alfreton Town and he was part of a solid defense who kept another clean sheet in their match against AFC Telford United.

The 20-year-old has slotted in nicely at Alfreton and when called upon, he made some vital blocks and interceptions to make sure his side kept the ball out of the net. Whilst being solid at the back, it was up to Jordan Thewlis to score the only goal of the match with minutes left on the clock. A huge win for the Reds on home soil.

Will Russ has enjoyed his time at Hyde United, and managed to get an assist and a goal on Saturday in their clash against Liversedge. Hyde won the match 4-2 and Town's young forward setup teammate Fearnley to slot the ball home from close range.

Russ bagged the fourth goal for Hyde with 82 minutes on the clock. He kept his composure and found the back of the net from a tight angle to make sure all three points were sealed for his side.

Barry Baggley and Chris Conn-Clarke were action for sister club, Waterford FC on Friday night in their League of Ireland First Division opener against Wexford Fotball Club. Both played 68 minutes before being substituted with the Blues three goals to the good thanks to a hat-trick from Wassim Aouachria.

Tom Donaghy was in the Waterford FC matchday squad, but didn't make an appearance off the bench.

Drew Baker - who made the trip to Bohemian Football Club on Friday - wasn't in their squad for their opener against Cork City, but watched on as they claimed a vital win on the road against the newly-promoted side.
