A ticketing update ahead of our clash with Ipswich next week

Fleetwood Town would like to issue the following update regarding tickets for our final Sky Bet League One game of the season on Sunday 7 May.

The Cod Army welcome Ipswich Town to Highbury Stadium in a game which could see the visitors clinch promotion to the Championship – with away section tickets extremely limited.

With this in mind, the Club have agreed to send an extra batch of tickets for Ipswich Town supporters, to allow them to enjoy what could be a memorable day on the Fylde Coast.

While we, as a Club, have made efforts to provide away supporters with as many tickets as possible, Fleetwood Town would like to remind home supporters they must NOT transfer their tickets to away fans under any circumstances.

Earlier in the season, away supporters found their way into home sections for the stadium for the visit of Bolton Wanderers, which resulted in crowd unrest and a huge risk to public safety.

To prevent this, the Club will have random gate spot checks in place on the day and will be ensuring background checks on all ticket purchases.

Anyone found to be purchasing or transferring home section tickets to away supporters will have their tickets cancelled with no refunds and face a ban from Highbury Stadium.

We hope Fleetwood Town and Ipswich Town supporters can both celebrate successful seasons in a safe environment.
