Fleetwood Town can confirm young duo Stephen McMullan and Sam Glenfield have been named in the Northern Ireland Under-19s squad ahead of their UEFA U19 Championship Qualifying Round fixtures in Holland.
McMullan, who joined the Cods this summer in August from Northern Irish side Warrrenpoint Town, is no stranger to the international setup as he has already been called up for a previous camp for the Under-19s earlier this year.
The 17-year-old will meet up with his fellow countrymen Sunday 18 September and will train with them until their game against Slovenia on Wednesday 21 September (7:30pm kick-off).
Sam Glenfield - who joined from Portadown in the summer - has represented the Club at Under-18s, Under-23s and First Team level this season, and will be in the squad for the Northern Ireland Under-19s fixtures this month.
Games against the host nation Netherlands (Saturday 24 September at 3pm) and Moldova (Tuesday 27 September at 7:30pm) will follow that before joining up with the Cods again at the end of the month.
Jake Wallace have been placed on the standby waiting list for the Under-19s and will be ready and prepared to join their countrymen if called up.
