Fleetwood Town’s Former Players Association (FPA) were back at Poolfoot Farm on Thursday morning, holding another successful and entertaining meeting!

The meeting on 'Transfer Deadline Day' started off in the usual fashion as all the members gathered around FPA Secretary Phil Brown who mentioned all the events that are coming up for the ex-players to get involved in.

This month, those in attendance took part in an interactive quiz, with Phil Brown taking over from Kevin Byrne as quizmaster. It got the whole group talking, discussing memories - which included Terry Uttley seeing a photo from 1959 of his playing and scoring in the same match. This gave the group a talking point for the next 10 minutes.

Towards the end of the meeting, Norman Moran stood up in front of former teammates to talk through his career. It started off with him joining the Cod Army, before he brought up captaining Town in the 1985 FA Vase Final - which saw him score in the final. A proud moment for Norman and his family.

The FPA would like to thank everyone who attended the meeting and wanted to say that they are looking forward to seeing you all at Poolfoot Farm once again on Thursday 6 October at 10am.
