Support the local food bank this Saturday

Supporters from both Fleetwood Town and Charlton Athletic have the opportunity to make a difference this weekend when the Club host a Pantry Day at Highbury Stadium on Saturday 17 September.

The Club has been working in partnership with Faith in the Community, as well as The Pantry food bank – which is the town’s only food bank for those in need. Both organisations thought this fixture against the Addicks seemed the perfect date to come together to help our local community.

Your donations can make a real difference to people’s lives, whether that be non-perishable food donations or change in the buckets, that will be going around the stadium during the game.

Since its opening, Faith in the Community feeds over 200 families per week, including almost 300 children in Fleetwood. £5 donations can help a family for three for a week, your donations and kindness will really make a difference this year!

Fans are asked to bring non-perishable donations of the following items: tinned meat and fish, tinned fruit and vegetables, packs of rice and pasta, tinned beans, tinned packet soup, breakfast cereals, tea and coffee and long-life UHT milk and juice.
