Three of the Fleetwood Town Wrens Ladies teams were in action at the weekend and here is a round-up of how they did in their respected fixtures.

FIRST TEAM

Fleetwood Town Wrens Ladies 12-1 Clitheroe Wolves Ladies FC

The first-team were in action this Sunday in the Vitality Women's FA Cup, and with 12 goals for the Cods, it was the perfet way to open their account in this year's competition. S.Slater scored six goals in the match, with Hendry and Lucas bagging a brace each, and Spencer and Whittaker also getting themsevles on the score sheet. Well done girls, here's to Round Two!

RESERVE SQUAD

Fleetwood Town Wrens Ladies Reserves Squad 2-1 Burnley Belvedere Ladies FC

The Reserve Squad also picked up the win at the weekend. It was a tight game against a very strong Burnley team which saw the girls come out with all three points. Many chances were created on the day which pleased the coaching staff, but it was all about getting points on the board. Emily McCarthy scored both of the gials on the day.

DEVELOPMENT SQUAD

Fleetwood Town Wrens Ladies Development Squad 7-3 Euxton Development Girls Reserves

The Development Squad rounded off the perfect weekend by picking up the win on home-soil. Town dominated the game with shots and possession, with goals coming from Ramsbottom - who scored a hat-trick, with O'Neill and Parr who both scored two goals on the day.
