FIRST TEAM

Fleetwood Town Wrens Ladies 3-0 CLS Amazon

The first-team were in Vitality Women’s FA Cup action at the weekend, a game in which they had to battle hard from start to finish, and ended up winning the tie comfortably after goals from Emily Slater, Sophie Slater, and Frankie Sarsfield. They now await the draw where they will find out who they face in the next round of the competition.

Penrith AFC Ladies Development 4-4 Fleetwood Town Wrens Ladies Development

In what was an eight-goal thriller in the LFA Women’s County League Championship, our Ladies’ Development side showed great character to stay in the game and come away with a valuable point. Lauren Hardman, who scored a hat-trick and was nominated as joint-player of the match alongside Ash Yates, found the back of the net, with Lydia Wright also scoring on the day in the eventful clash.
