Young cod Chris Conn-Clarke was in action over the last seven days for his respective loan side – and here’s an update on how he got on and who he could feature against this weekend.

Chris Conn-Clarke - who is currently at Altrincham - could make an appearance in this year's FA Cup as Alty take on Gateshead in the Fourth Qualifying Round of the famous competition.

The young striker featured for his parent club on Tuesday in Fleetwood Town's Central League Cup match against Blackpool, where he scored Town's goal in their narrow 2-1 defeat.

Conn-Clarke played in Altrincham's last league fixture which was against Dorking Wanderers. His side won 4-1 with the forward having to go off early in the first half due to illness.

Last time he played against Saturday's opposition Gateshead, Conn-Clarke scored the goal that put the scores levels after Owen Bailey opened the scoring in the North East. Alty did go on to win 3-1 back on Tuesday 4 October, with the Northern Ireland forward getting an assist later in the match to help seal all three points.
