Two of the Fleetwood Town Wrens Ladies teams were in action at the weekend and here is a round-up of how they did in their respected fixtures.

FIRST TEAM

West Didsbury & Chorlton 1-2 Fleetwood Town Wrens Ladies

The first team were back in league action today & back on the road as they took on West Didsbury & Chorlton Ladies. It was a scrappy game from start to finish with both teams having plenty of chances throughout the 90 minutes. The game was level at 1-1, and it took Fleetwood until the last few minutes to get a winning goal and bring home all three points - a great win for the girls!

DEVELOPMENT SQUAD

Blackpool Ladies 5-0 Fleetwood Town Wrens Ladies

The Development Team were on the road today for the local Derby as they took on Blackpool Ladies & Girls Development in a league fixture. It was a tough start for the Ladies and with Blackpool putting on a dominant first half display, it left too much for the Ladies to do to get anything out of the game. A disappointing result but the girls go again next week.

Player of the match: Holly Bo Dunning

Fleetwood Town Wrens Ladies Reserves had no game this week due to the pitch being unplayable. This fixture will be rearranged once both teams have agreed a time and date.
