Forward Carlos Mendes Gomes had been nominated by the PFA for the Fans Player of the Month award after his goalscoring form throughout October.
Not only did Mendes Gomes notch multiple assists throughout the month, but he also managed to get on the score sheet in four different games against Portsmouth, Manchester United’s Under-21s in the Papa Johns Trophy, Exeter City, and Accrington Stanley respectively.
The Luton loanee has been nominated alongside Victor Abeboyejo (Burton Albion), Jonson Clarke-Harris (Peterborough United), Sam Nombe (Exeter City), Aaron Collins (Bristol Rovers), and Finn Azaz (Plymouth Argyle).
