Fleetwood Town duo Dan Batty and Cian Hayes paid a visit to local Primary School, St. Wulstans' to discuss their journey in football and take part in a question and answer session.

With the club getting back out into the community more this season, two Town players headed down the road to Fleetwood to spend some time with a Year 6 class, who were learning about mental health in their classroom.

Batty and Hayes arrived at the school on Thursday afternoon and took to the school hall to take part in an assembly, which started off with the lads telling the kids how much they have sacrificed to get to where they are today, as well as promoting the benefits of healthy eating and giving advice on how to deal with disappointment and being the person you want to be.

After 30 minutes with the pupils, the players then took time to sign shirts that a number of children brought in and also signed autographs to those meeting their idols.

It was great to see the interaction between the players and the pupils, building a rapport ahead of this weekend's FA Cup tie at home to Oxford City.

An Under-18s ticket for Saturday's match will cost just £1 - BUY ONLINE HERE!

We'd like to thank St. Wulstan's Primary School for having us on the day.
